Making
Fine Tracks for 13 Years
—Stevenson's
Brews, Blues and Barbeques
"One of the most comfortable, homey days, it’s
almost an anti-brew fest.” says award winning Stevenson
brewer and Walking Man Brewing owner Bob Craig of Stevenson’s
Blues, Brews and Barbeque.
Each
June, this gathering on the Stevenson waterfront celebrates
the enjoyment of the finer aspects of Northwest life—the
beautiful land, the great food and beverages with an added
layer of some of the finest in local blues. This years’
13 Annual Blues, Brews and Barbeque, Saturday June 24, 2006,
will showcase over 2 dozen Northwest craft brews, several
regional wineries and local BBQ. The location, Teo Park, lies
right on the Columbia River with tremendous views across the
water to the rust colored basalt cliffs rising on the other
side.
Over
the years, the Blues Brews and Barbeques has become a staple
on the calendar of many Northwest residents with hotels in
Stevenson filling well before the date. Drawing more than
3000, the Brew Fest triples the population of Stevenson, while
maintaining the casual small town character typifying the
great times people come to expect in this little Columbia
River front town.
